James Gunn recently discussed the progress of *The Brave and the Bold* script on the *The Ringer-Verse* podcast, stating that while work continues, it isn’t complete. He also talked about potential Batman actors, confirming he has a list of favorites. He explained that, like with Superman, his initial choices don’t necessarily get the role, and a full audition process is still needed. While he wouldn’t rule out casting a major star without an audition, he suggested it’s unlikely. He mentioned one particularly well-known actor has expressed interest in playing Batman, but Gunn isn’t sure if it will happen.
The upcoming Doomsday event boasts an impressive roster, but it’s surprising to see some key, powerful characters still unconfirmed. These three missing characters could be crucial in stopping Sentry if his dangerous side resurfaces and takes control again.
Readers first got a glimpse of Imperius Rex, a clone of Namor, in *New Avengers* #3. This week’s *New Avengers* #4 ramps things up significantly, as Imperius Rex has become a massive, city-threatening monster. However, there’s more to the situation than just a giant battle. The clone actually has a key advantage over Namor, creating major difficulties for the heroes, but ultimately teaching Namor a valuable lesson.
Although Mahershala Ali won’t be providing the voice for Blade in the *Marvel Zombies* series, the character will still look like him. We first saw this version of Blade, originally appearing in *What If…?* season 3, and recent artwork shared on Instagram by @arifinity_ gives us a good idea of how he might look in a live-action film. The art suggests this version of Blade would be a fantastic addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, potentially giving the character new abilities and highlighting his strength.
