In a recent interview with Jim Vejvoda from IGN, James Gunn was very open about his plans for the DC Universe reboot – even though fans are still surprised by his answer about Batman casting. After famously saying “nope” when asked if anyone was being considered for the role, Gunn explained that many big-name actors have expressed interest. “Honestly, it’s easier to find actors who *don’t* want to be Batman,” he said. “It’s the one role everyone dreams of playing.”

Honestly, these characters aren’t content just being part of Peter Pan’s world, like Wendy and the Lost Boys. They’re aiming higher – they want to be in charge, and Wendy is definitely leading the charge to take control.

As a comic book fan, I have to say DC really set the standard for sophisticated storytelling. They didn’t just give us great comics, they gave us genuinely great fiction. Honestly, the range of amazing stories they’ve published is incredible – there’s something for everyone in their vast multiverse. I’ve put together a list of ten DC stories I think are the absolute best, and if you haven’t experienced them yet, consider this your official recommendation! (Just a heads-up, I didn’t include classics like *The Dark Knight Returns* and *Watchmen* – but trust me, you should absolutely read those too.)

As a huge movie fan, I’m really excited about the *Wicked* sequel! One of the coolest things they’re adding is the famous group from the original *Wizard of Oz*. Now, thanks to a report from John Rocha at *The Hot Mic*, we have a better idea of the plot-and it’s quite different from what many expected. According to Rocha, the story centers on a young boy who is strong with the Force. Amy Adams plays his mother, who appears to be a Jedi. While Ryan Gosling isn’t a Jedi himself, he’s helping his nephew escape two villains who are pursuing him throughout the galaxy, on a mission given to him by Adams.

Recently, we’ve seen a lot of older games updated or re-released, but nothing compares to a completely new game in a series people already love. Nintendo has several well-known franchises that haven’t had new installments in a long time, and their fans are eager for a return. As Nintendo enters a new generation with the Switch 2, it’s time to bring these classic series back with modern updates.

Marvel Studios is now focusing on animation to create fresh stories and explore different possibilities, something they’ve done well with the series *What If…?* For example, it featured an interesting take on T’Challa as Star-Lord. However, the release of the spin-off *Marvel Zombies* – a storyline fans have anticipated for decades – is starting to overshadow the original *What If…?* series.

ComicBook recently spoke with several stars of *Futurama* – Billy West (the voice of Fry, Professor Farnsworth, and Zoidberg), Lauren Tom (Amy), and Phil Lamarr (Hermes) – about the show’s return. They all shared their enthusiasm about continuing with the series, and expressed hope for even more seasons beyond the already confirmed Season 14 on Hulu, as long as the show continues to be made.

Square Enix has been focusing a lot on updating older games like *Final Fantasy Tactics*, the *Dragon Quest* series, and *Final Fantasy VII Remake*, but they’ve largely overlooked a really interesting project from the past. I think it’s time they revisited *Vagrant Story*. It’s a game that deserves more attention.
