A recent post on X by @housethedragons suggests a surprising twist for Daeron Targaryen in Season 3 of the show. It builds on earlier rumors that Daeron – the son of Alicent Hightower and Viserys Targaryen – would be captured or surrender to Daemon Targaryen, with set photos seemingly confirming a scene between them. This already deviates from the book *Fire & Blood*, where this doesn’t happen. However, the newest rumor claims there’s even more to the story: apparently, two actors are playing Daeron. Charlie Gordon portrays a decoy version of Daeron who is given up to Daemon, while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth plays the real Daeron.

He estimated it would take around a decade to unfold, but stressed that this is flexible. Gunn explained he won’t approve any project unless he loves the script, and some planned projects haven’t come together as expected. He wants to keep the overall vision consistent, but also be prepared to adjust details as needed, meaning the broad strokes remain the same even if specific plans change.

This *Pumpkinhead* movie isn’t related to the 1988 film of the same name. It’s based on a short story by R.L. Stine called *The Haunting Hour*. Like many of Stine’s stories, this version is aimed at young adults and features a group of young people facing a powerful, relentless enemy. You can watch it for free on Tubi starting October 17th.
