As a longtime Batman fan, I’ve always felt Robin was essential to the dynamic, but Jason Todd… well, he just didn’t quite *fit*. It’s wild to think it’s been over four decades since he first donned the costume, and even more shocking that fans actually voted to kill him off after just five years as Robin! When *Batman* #366 hit the stands, it promised a fresh start, but looking back, that hope feels misplaced. Honestly, Jason Todd seemed destined to fail from the beginning. I think DC made a mistake even putting him in the role. The various Robins are so important to Batman’s story, but Jason never felt like his own person, and that ultimately did him in.

Several new games have come out recently that aren’t worth your time. South of Midnight, from Compulsion Games, was released in the spring. Avowed, developed by the RPG experts at Obsidian Entertainment, came out in February. And last month, Xbox released Gears of War: Reloaded, which you can safely skip, especially if you’re an Xbox or PC gamer.

Team Cherry is working on an update to address player feedback about the game’s difficulty. While the update will make the game generally easier, some specific issues won’t be fixed. A major point of discussion among fans is the ‘double contact damage’ – getting hit twice in quick succession. The original game had damage from contact, and even double damage in some cases, but it didn’t have damage stacking from multiple hits at once, as contact damage was usually limited to one instance per mask. Recently, many players on the game’s Reddit page have been asking Team Cherry to adjust this system.

Even though Lex Luthor is currently in jail, he won’t stay there for long. James Gunn has announced a sequel to the *Superman* movie, titled *Man of Tomorrow*. While Superman will still be important, the story will focus more on Luthor and his plans for the DC Universe. Superman will likely be responsible for keeping Luthor under control, and it seems likely they might even team up – but that would require a shared threat, and DC Comics has just the character in mind.

I was so excited to see that Gearbox is actually listening to us fans! They posted on X that they’re looking into adding FOV sliders to the console versions of *Borderlands*. It’s not a guarantee yet, and they don’t have a timeline for when it might happen – it might not even be in the next update – but it’s still awesome that they’re considering it. Hopefully, we’ll get some good news soon!

The game features several ‘evocarium’ puzzles, but they’re easy to solve. You just need to activate the puzzle and then find the glowing orbs nearby.

The tip jar is back in Moxxi’s bar! You’ll encounter it during the main story, and by that point, you’ll have already unlocked several bosses that you can farm over and over again for legendary items.

The Coastal Bonescape safehouse is the first location you unlock after the game’s brief opening. Claptrap walks you through the whole process, and honestly, it’s a bit irritating, so it’s hard to imagine anyone getting stuck there.

The safehouse at The Howl is surprisingly easy to access. You can either fight through the enemies in the main area, or just run past them to get inside. Once you complete the activity, you’ll unlock all the safehouse’s features.
