There has long been talk about an expansion for the game Origins, as its storyline concludes relatively early in the broader Three Kingdoms chronicle, leaving ample opportunities for additional content through downloadable packs.

Initially, I considered giving it a pass because the game didn’t add much to the narrative or intensify the rivalry. However, upon rewatching, I found myself grinning at the obvious enjoyment Jey and Roman exhibited throughout the contest. This joyous atmosphere turned it into a success. Although it didn’t advance any aspect of this feud or plotline, it was delightful to see Reigns summon Jey once more or introduce an element of surprise by leaping over the ropes. The same can be said for Reed and Breakker, who injected creativity (and brutality) into their performance during the match. Occasionally, matches are simply entertaining to watch, and this one certainly fits that bill.

Given that Spider-Man was entering an established Marvel universe, it made sense for Marvel Studios to skip over retelling his origin tale and instead introduce him mid-action in “Captain America: Civil War”. By aligning with Team Iron Man, Peter Parker embarked on a journey that spanned six movies. In the new movie “Spider-Man: Fresh Start“, our web-slinging protagonist is venturing down a new path, including a change in his costume design.

In contrast, when Kafka confronts Kaiju No. 9 and is about to transform, he finds himself unexpectedly unable. As the power of Kaiju No. 8 is urgently required, things take a turn for the worse, leaving Kikoru no choice but to fight Kaiju No. 9 with all her might. Initially, it’s uncertain why Kafka can’t transform, but later in the most recent episode, we learn that his fear of losing control and putting his companions at risk is holding him back. In a parallel to Eren Yeager from Attack on Titan, Kafka eventually conquers his fears with the help of his friends.

In Sam Raimi’s 2002 film, Spider-Man, Norman Osborn had numerous opportunities to exhibit his psychotic and powerful character, including a chilling scene where he destroyed a crowd of bystanders, even including members of Oscorp’s board of directors, using a Pumpkin Bomb at the Unity Day festival. Although it would have been thrilling to watch this unbridled evil reappear in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios toned down the Green Goblin’s strength significantly in the Phase 4 trilogy finale.
