On March 5, 2026, during Developer Diary Episode 3, the game was officially announced and pre-orders opened for consoles. This follows a brief delay from the initial 2025 release plan, allowing the development team additional time to refine what’s shaping up to be a very immersive game.
According to hardware insider Moore’s Law Is Dead – known for accurate PlayStation leaks – the next Xbox (reportedly called the Helix) is expected to be 20% to 40% more powerful than the upcoming PlayStation 6. However, Sony may be able to close that performance gap. Reports suggest Sony might push its chip to a higher clock speed of 3.5 GHz, while Microsoft may prioritize stability and avoid pushing its hardware to the limit to prevent overheating. If Sony does this, the speed difference between the consoles could be minimal. The risk is that pushing the PS6’s chip so hard could cause overheating problems. The PS5 currently doesn’t overheat, but it does get warm and has faced issues related to the liquid metal used for cooling.
Marvel fans love finding new ways to play as their favorite heroes, and Marvel Dice Throne is a great example. Now, DC fans get a similar experience with Brave & Bold: Bag Building Combat Game. It keeps the exciting combat and character focus of Dice Throne, but instead of rolling dice, you build a bag of power cards. As a huge One Piece fan, I was so excited to hear Eiichiro Oda himself talk about the live-action series! He recently shared on the official Netflix podcast that he has some favorite changes the show made from the original manga, specifically in the ‘Into the Grand Line’ arc. Apparently, these weren’t just little tweaks – he thinks they’ll really jump out and impress fans, and honestly, I can’t wait to see what they are!
Comic book heroes are often reimagined in different ways, and DC Comics calls these alternate versions “Elseworlds.” There are countless Elseworlds stories, ranging from those that closely resemble the main DC universe to those that are drastically different. Today, we’re celebrating the eighth anniversary of one of the greatest Green Lantern Elseworlds stories ever created: Green Lantern: Earth One. The first book came out in March 2018, and fans are eager for more after the first two volumes.

After Nathan Fillion hinted at something with the Firefly cast on Instagram, it’s been officially announced: a new Firefly show is in the works, and it’s going to be animated! What’s even better is that Nathan Fillion and so many of the original stars – Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin, Gina Torres, Adam Baldwin, Jewel Staite, Summer Glau, and Sean Maher – are all coming back. Nathan said that it’s thanks to us, the fans, and our 24 years of support that this is possible, and that we deserve it. It’s amazing to see our dedication paying off!
The planned series, called Buffy: New Sunnydale, would have featured Sarah Michelle Gellar reprising her role as Buffy Summers alongside a new slayer named Nova, played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong. Following the announcement that the show wouldn’t be moving forward, Armstrong posted a picture of herself in costume as Nova on Instagram, adding a black heart and the caption “your slayer.” You can see the image below.
PlayStation Studios will release MLB The Show 26 on March 17th, making it their third game of 2026. While a more powerful PS5 Pro could improve the game, it won’t be getting those enhancements. This isn’t a huge surprise, as MLB The Show 25 also didn’t take advantage of the PS5 Pro. As a result, the Xbox Series X currently offers the best experience for the series, given its superior power compared to the standard PS5.
The first Resident Evil movie came out on March 15, 2002, and it was a decent horror film, even though it didn’t really follow the story of the video game – it just shared some of the same creatures. While it started as a pretty good, scary movie, the series quickly became much more exaggerated. Sometimes the sequels would reference the game, but other times they strayed far from the source material.
