Warning: This article contains Joker: Folie ? Deux spoilers. “I just hope my death makes more sense than my life,” Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) writes in his journal in 2019’s Joker. A self-described mentally-ill loner who works as a clown while pursuing a career in stand-up comedy, Arthur’s Joker inadvertently inspires a movement after he murders three Wayne employees on the subway. “If it was me dying on the sidewalk, you’d walk right over me. I pass you every day, and you don’t notice me,” Joker complains just before shooting and killing late night host Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) live on television, sparking a riot that culminates in the deaths of Martha and Thomas Wayne on the streets of Gotham City.

The epic battle in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi concluded with the Rebel forces triumphing over the Galactic Empire during the Battle of Endor, which led to the demise of the Emperor, the annihilation of Death Star II, and Luke Skywalker successfully converting the Sith Lord Darth Vader back into the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Following this victory, our heroes – Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, R2-D2, C-3PO, and the Ewoks – celebrated their success and enjoyed a peaceful existence… until the emergence of the First Order and the fall of the New Republic.

Enthusiasts of horror games often have a wealth of upcoming titles to anticipate, and another potential gem has been announced: the horror RPG series “Pathologic,” developed by Ice-Pick Lodge. This series has garnered a significant following over the years, and fortunately, the interval between its second and third installments won’t be as prolonged as the gap between the first two.

One of the most contentious aspects has been the portrayal of Harley herself, with many critics claiming that the film either misrepresented or failed to fully explore her character. This discussion has led many to acknowledge that a previous DC film, Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), from 2020, offered a more fitting portrayal of Harley on the big screen.
