The huge success of the 1977 film Star Wars quickly led other studios to start making their own large-scale science fiction movies, hoping to attract similar audiences. These films tried to copy the look and storytelling of Star Wars, featuring characters like brave young heroes, charming smugglers, and powerful, evil empires. But despite varying levels of critical and commercial success, none of these copycats managed to become as popular, influential, or long-lasting as the original.

According to Jean Guesdon, the head of the franchise, support for Shadows is winding down and nearing completion.

The first issue of Star Wars: Shadows of Maul, created by Benjamin Percy and Madibek Musabekov, officially leads into the Shadow Lord story. Most of the action takes place on Janix, a strange planet that becomes Maul’s headquarters after the Clone Wars. This comic finally reveals what Maul did after managing to survive Order 66.

Talks broke down completely, and Dabura severely wounded Yakumaru and Usami before issuing a challenge for a fight. Yakumaru quickly became a despised character among fans. Volume 2 of the manga, released on March 4th, includes additional details about the story and Akutami’s thoughts on Yakumaru.

Look, I grew up loving Zack Morris, he was everyone’s favorite! But honestly, even back then, you could tell he was trouble. During Pierce Brosnan’s time as James Bond, the character Q was generally portrayed as an older, somewhat exasperated inventor, but with a playful spark. The game 007 First Light offers a similar take on Q, but depicts him as a bit younger and more like a fun, approachable uncle – a role that the game’s creator, Mackenzie, envisioned for him based on his own childhood memories.

The new season has actually gotten a better initial response than the last one, and it’s gaining a lot of popularity. However, while it’s doing very well, several other anime released this year seem more likely to win Anime of the Year. Three titles, in particular, are strong contenders – and two of them are currently being released at the same time as Frieren Season 2.
