Bungie Confirms First Two Marathon Seasons, Both Adding Free Content

The first season launches alongside the game on March 5th, 2026. Called ‘Death Is the First Step,’ the season will run until June and introduces a new area called the Cryo Archive. The popular series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has seen a few live-action adaptations, but the most extensive has centered around the character Kishibe Rohan. Beyond a multi-episode live-action series, Rohan’s story was also told in two full-length films, Rohan au Louvre and Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan: At a Confessional, which followed the manga artist’s quest for inspiration. The next installment will be different, focusing on Rohan’s editor, Izumi Kyoka. This new television episode, titled “Izumi Kyoka Does Not Shut Up,” features an original story penned by the series creator, Hirohiko Araki.
