The rising production costs ultimately led to the end of the Rush Hour film series. The first movie in 1998 cost around $35 million to make, but Rush Hour 2 jumped to $90 million, and Rush Hour 3’s price tag was even higher, estimated between $125 and $180 million. Since ticket sales didn’t increase significantly, by the time Rush Hour 3 came out in 2007, the films were no longer the relatively inexpensive star vehicles they once were. This decline coincided with a downturn in the career of director Brett Ratner. However, a fourth Rush Hour film is now in development and aims to revive the franchise in 2025.

Originally published by Ubisoft, Cold Fear is a well-regarded cult classic often compared to Capcom’s Resident Evil series. According to Deadline, Toby Wallace—known for his roles in Euphoria and Bikeriders—is the first actor cast in the upcoming live-action Assassin’s Creed series. He’s expected to play one of the show’s main characters, though details about who he’ll portray haven’t been released yet.

As a huge fan, I think the series has to hit a few key things before it wraps up. It doesn’t need to answer everything, but there are three points that are absolutely essential for giving Deku a really satisfying ending. Seriously, these are make-or-break for me!

Currently, Zootopia 2 has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 61 critic reviews. This is comparable to the original Zootopia, which received a 98% rating and was certified fresh. It’s also the highest score for a Walt Disney Animation Studios film since Encanto (92%) in 2021. Zootopia 2‘s score is significantly better than recent Disney animated movies like Strange World (72%), Wish (48%), and Moana 2 (61%).
