I’m referring to the 2018 God of War, not the more recent one. This game, released on April 20th, 2018, was a truly exceptional experience. Santa Monica Studio’s reimagining of the series completely changed it, raising the bar for Sony games and establishing PlayStation as a key player in story-driven action. Its impact on game design is still felt today, and even eight years after its release, it remains as significant as ever.

We do occasionally get a peek at what the future might hold. Time travel is common in superhero stories, and DC Comics has explored many potential futures through its concept of Hypertime. These futures often feature unique superhero teams. Today, we’ll be looking at five of the best DC superhero teams from the distant future. Each team represents a possible path for our present, and they’re all entertaining in their own way. So, let’s jump forward in time and meet the descendants of today’s heroes!

A recent post on the PlayStation Blog details the upcoming PS5 exclusive game. It explains that the game will take full advantage of the PS5’s powerful hardware to offer improved graphics, including sharper visuals and features like realistic fog and advanced lighting effects.

However, 2026’s upcoming satirical comedy Digger is set to change this lengthy trend. Produced by Cruise and directed by The Revenant’s Alejandro González Iñárritu, Digger is a black comedy starring Cruise, Jesse Plemons, Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sophie Wilde, and Sandra Hüller. Not a lot is known about the $125 million beyond its sparse synopsis, which claims that Digger tells the story of the world’s most powerful man trying to prove that he can save humanity before a disaster that he inadvertently caused ruins the world. This apocalyptic scale seemingly justifies the movie’s big price tag.

With increasing worries about the recent issues with Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, Sea of Thieves continues to be a reliably enjoyable pirate game to play with friends. Over 19 seasons, the game has improved with additions like crossovers and new features, creating a detailed experience for naval combat and cooperation. While Sea of Thieves is easy to pick up and play, other pirate games offer more complex systems for a different and exciting experience.

This isn’t the Starfleet vessel, the USS Enterprise. Captain Freeman immediately recognizes it as a ship belonging to the Ferengi. The Ferengi likely chose the name with a different meaning in mind – “enterprise” can also refer to a business or company. They probably meant it as a sly joke at the Federation’s expense, knowing the similar names would cause confusion.

For nearly five decades of Star Wars storytelling, we haven’t truly seen Jedi and Sith working as allies. The only situation where such a partnership would make sense is if they faced a common enemy even more dangerous than themselves. While the Jedi have occasionally made deals with the dark side to overcome powerful threats – like when Padawan Ezra Bridger briefly allied with Maul in Star Wars Rebels – those instances usually involved Jedi who weren’t fully devoted to the traditional Jedi Order. Now, the new Star Wars series, Maul – Shadow Lord, is finally exploring a genuine team-up between Jedi and Sith.

I’m so glad to hear Cygames is including a good intro for the re-release! It sounds like they’re going to give us a clear rundown of everything that happened before the game’s story actually starts, which is awesome for people like me who might need a refresher or are new to the world.

There’s a lot to look forward to for Dragon Ball fans! New downloadable content is coming to popular games like Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ, and the free-to-play games are getting expanded. Plus, Dragon Ball Age 1000, a sequel set far in the future, will actually be the next Xenoverse game. Overall, it’s great news, and fans have a lot to enjoy over the next couple of years.
