All eight episodes of Guy Ritchie’s new show, Young Sherlock, are now available on Prime Video, having premiered on March 4th. Ritchie, who also directed the Sherlock Holmes films from 2009 and 2011, brings an origin story to life, starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin as a 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes solving a murder mystery while at Oxford University in the 1870s. The show is off to a strong start – its February trailer garnered 223 million views in just one week, becoming Prime Video’s most popular trailer ever in that period, according to Deadline.

HBO Max and James Gunn announced today that the first trailer for the new Green Lantern TV series, Lanterns, will be released tomorrow. Along with the announcement, they shared a sneak peek – and the best look yet – at the Green Lantern rings featured in the DC Universe. Gunn also hinted at which comic books inspired the show. Surprisingly, Jurassic World Rebirth is currently the most popular movie on both HBO Max and Netflix. FlixPatrol reports it’s No. 1 worldwide on HBO Max, ahead of titles like Sisu: Road to Revenge and The Mummy Returns. On Netflix, Rebirth topped the global charts for the week of February 23rd to March 1st, with a strong 5.6 million views over 12.4 million hours of watch time. Currently, Rebirth is only streaming on HBO Max in certain countries, while all four Jurassic World films are available on Netflix in the U.S.

When Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game was first announced, it was clear the game would launch with a roster of 12 characters – a good number for an independently developed game. Crunchyroll has updated its subscription prices, effective today, March 4th. The “Fan” tier now costs $9.99 per month, up from $7.99. The “Mega Fan” tier has increased to $13.99 per month from $11.99, and the “Ultimate Fan” tier is now $17.99 per month, previously $15.99. While the “Fan” tier hadn’t seen a price change since 2019, both the “Mega Fan” and “Ultimate Fan” tiers had increases earlier in 2024.
