Final Fantasy V doesn’t get the attention it deserves, and is often overlooked by fans of the series. While it’s not anyone’s top pick, it’s a game I really enjoyed playing. The recent Pixel Remaster has brought it back into the spotlight, and I believe it’s time for a full remake to truly showcase its potential.
Okay, fellow movie lovers, heads up! Donnie Darko, that amazing 2001 sci-fi thriller, is leaving Netflix on January 18th. Usually when a movie disappears from one streaming service, it shows up on another pretty quickly, but right now, it doesn’t look like that’s happening with this one. It’s a shame, because it’s got a fantastic cast – Drew Barrymore, Patrick Swayze… and it was a real breakout role for Jake Gyllenhaal, you know?

After Stan was cast in the new Batman movie, rumors quickly spread that he might be playing Harvey Dent, and there seems to be evidence supporting this. Stan’s stylist shared artwork online showing him as Two-Face, and industry insider Jeff Sneider claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that Harvey Dent was cast in The Batman 2. This happened before Sneider could find out who was playing the role, and news of Stan’s casting soon became public. See the related posts below.
I’ve been watching MrBeast, who’s become a massive name online with over 450 million subscribers, start a new adventure recently. He confessed he’d never gotten into One Piece before, but after some encouragement from IShowSpeed, he began watching Luffy’s story. He seems to be enjoying it, though he’s had some pretty critical things to say about the One Piece fan base.
Director Shawn Levy recently told the New York Times that his upcoming film, Starfighter, includes a surprise lightsaber fight – and that Tom Cruise actually participated. Levy explained that many famous actors had been visiting the set during filming, including Steven Spielberg the week before. Cruise’s arrival was particularly memorable: he landed in a helicopter while his team played the Mission: Impossible theme song. Levy jokingly suggested Cruise operate one of the cameras, and ended up filming while wearing expensive shoes.
