Starfield wasn’t a complete failure, but it didn’t live up to the high expectations and promises fans had for it, and many felt the long wait wasn’t justified. The game had some noticeable shortcomings – like needing loading screens between space and planet surfaces, and the lack of ground vehicles at launch – and ultimately didn’t feel like a significant leap forward for Bethesda. However, Bethesda seems to be continuing to work on the game, and a substantial update or improvement may be on the way.

Though Terry Gilliam became well-known in the ’80s, he first made a name for himself in the ’70s with imaginative fantasy films like Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Jabberwocky. In 1985, he switched genres, creating a science fiction film that many consider more thought-provoking than The Terminator. Even today, the film holds up remarkably well and continues to influence filmmakers.

As a huge fight fan, I’m loving what DC is doing with “All Fight Month”! It’s this awesome event where they show full fights that usually happen further down the line, and we’ve already seen some incredible battles – Superman vs. Captain Atom, Aquaman taking on Hawkman, you name it. Now, they’re pitting a character who used to be central to the DC movie universe in the ring, and the stakes are huge – a chance at unbelievable power! What’s really wild is they’re bringing out some seriously powerful armor, basically replacing an entire team of heroes just to make a statement. It’s clear they mean business!

Despite the success of some blockbusters, many other great movies have been overlooked. While 2008’s Iron Man leaned more towards action, it was the foundation for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, built around a man and his AI creating a high-tech flying suit. And Transformers successfully transitioned to live-action, demonstrating huge financial potential. However, even with these films grabbing the spotlight, plenty of others deserve a second look – it’s time to rediscover them.

The Zanni is trying to make Nightwing the master of ceremonies for his otherworldly Cirque du Sin, and he’s been carefully orchestrating events and manipulating people to mold Nightwing into the leader he wants. He’s demonstrated immense power by keeping the deceased Columbina alive for over ten years and forcibly changing the fifth-dimensional imp Nite-Mite into a monstrous being he hasn’t been able to recover from. While we’ve already witnessed the Zanni’s incredible abilities, Nightwing #133 definitively revealed just how powerful he is—to a degree that even Superman wouldn’t be able to defeat him.

Company CEO Toshihiro Kondo has stated in past interviews that sales in western markets now consistently exceed those in Japan for their games. In fact, Falcom’s success outside of Japan has been crucial to the company’s overall performance.

Apple TV is creating a new series focusing on the origins of Monarch, the organization from the Legacy of Monsters universe. The show will star Wyatt Russell as a young Colonel Lee Shaw, exploring how he first encountered the Titans and helped establish Monarch. Legacy of Monsters Season 1 starts in 1952, following Shaw as he works with scientist Keiko Miura and meets a young Bill Randa while investigating Titan radiation. The season jumps to 1982, where Shaw returns from a disastrous mission to Hollow Earth, only to find out time passes much faster there – days spent in Hollow Earth equal 20 years in the real world.

Okay, so if you’re like me and looking for some seriously good dramas to watch this December, I’ve got you covered. I’ve been checking things out, and there are seven shows on HBO Max that I think are absolute must-sees. Seriously, they’re perfect for cozying up when the weather gets cold!

In a conversation with Empire, Lord and Miller talked about the difficulties of creating Project Hail Mary. Lord mentioned dealing with complex issues like fluctuating gravity, crafting a compelling story largely focused on a single character for extended periods, and making an emotional connection through scenes involving microbes and scientific experiments. He emphasized that the story’s success hinged on the development of a believable friendship between two characters.
