Mark Cerny, a designer for the PS5 Pro, announced on the PlayStation Blog that a new system update will be rolling out worldwide in the coming weeks. This update focuses on PSSR technology, significantly improving the console’s upscaling capabilities compared to its launch in late 2024. This enhanced PSSR feature will be implemented on a per-game basis, and the first game to support it will be Resident Evil Requiem.

The anime series Gate first aired in 2015 and concluded its initial season in 2016. Although the source material – including novels, light novels, and a continuing manga – offered plenty of content, most fans didn’t expect a second season. However, it was announced last year that Gate would return in 2027. A new trailer has now been released to generate excitement for the show’s comeback, focusing on the character Yoji Itami and his battle against the creatures threatening our world. I was so hyped to hear that Steve Marcois from Despised Icon is going to be working on the game’s music! That’s awesome – his work with that band is incredible, so I’m really excited to see what he brings to the soundtrack.
The chat system seems to have a specific issue with the game ARC Raiders. While other games and swear words are generally allowed, typing “ARC Raiders” results in a string of hash marks. Interestingly, mentioning popular titles like Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, or Apex Legends doesn’t trigger any censorship.
During the recent Pokemon Presents showcase, The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Champions will be released in April 2026. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, it’s expected to be revealed soon. The game will first be available on Nintendo Switch and the new Nintendo Switch 2, with a mobile version coming later in 2026. All versions of Champions will work together, allowing players to share save data and play with each other across different platforms.
