I was so excited when I heard Prime Video was finally adapting Patricia Cornwell’s Scarpetta books, and it’s now available to stream! They released all eight episodes on March 11th. Naomi Watts stars as Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a forensic pathologist, and Chloe Curtis plays her sister Dorothy. The show jumps between two timelines – we see Kay starting out in the 90s and then returning to her hometown in the present day. She’s investigating some really disturbing murders that seem to echo a cold case from almost 30 years ago, which really forces her to deal with her past. It’s a pretty gripping story!

Okay, so a live-action Tangled is officially happening! Michael Gracey, who did The Greatest Showman, is directing, which is exciting. I’m hearing Teagan Croft – you might know her from Titans – will be playing Rapunzel, and Milo Manheim (Zombie) is set to be Flynn. They’ve got the cast and crew assembled, so while there’s no firm release date just yet, my guess is we’ll see it sometime in 2027 or early 2028. I’m definitely keeping an eye on this one!

Released in 2003 for the Nintendo Gamecube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox, The Simpsons: Hit & Run is widely considered the best game in the Simpsons series by fans. Writer Matt Selman, who contributed to the game, recently spoke to People magazine about it. While he didn’t confirm any plans, Selman suggested a return isn’t impossible. He stated, “Nothing is set in stone, but people love Hit & Run and want more of it, so never say never.”

In a recent interview with Maude’s Book Club, author Pierce Brown discussed the status of the planned Red Rising TV series. He confirmed that a series was indeed in development, but ultimately didn’t move forward after years of effort – a common situation in Hollywood. Brown explained that most projects that are optioned never actually get made, estimating the chances of success at less than one percent. He said they simply couldn’t get the series to a point where the studio felt confident in producing it. Despite this setback, Brown hinted that Red Rising might still appear in a different format in the future.

I just checked out the new trailer Nvidia dropped, and the visuals with DLSS Ray Reconstruction are seriously impressive! But what really got my attention was RTX Mega Geometry. Apparently, it lets them build all the stuff ray tracing needs – like, a hundred times faster than before! That means we could see games with way more detailed environments and smoother, more realistic graphics, all in real-time. It’s a big deal for making everything look amazing without killing your framerate.

Yuji managed to convince a strong opponent, Higuruma, to change a rule in the Culling Game, but Megumi wasn’t so fortunate. He was lured into a trap by a girl named Remi. When he met a new fighter who offered him a deal, the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 hinted that Megumi quickly found himself in a serious fight. However, things take a turn when an unexpected and exciting character appears.

Dan Trachtenberg, known for Predator: Badlands, directed the follow-up to Cloverfield in 2016. Instead of a typical found-footage horror, he crafted a suspenseful and psychological thriller. 10 Cloverfield Lane was not only a stronger film than the first Cloverfield, but it also redefined what the franchise could be.
