Nate Purkeypile, the sole developer of the game The Axis Unseen, released it on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 22, 2024. Purkeypile previously worked at Bethesda Game Studios, contributing to popular titles like Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Starfield. A version for Xbox Series is in development, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

The Forsaken Hollows update introduces two new playable characters, the Nightfarers, and gives players a reason to revisit the world of Limveld to battle the Nightlords. While that’s the core of it, the update offers much more! The new Nightfarers are exceptionally well-designed, adding fresh strategies and gameplay options. Players will explore new swamp biomes – a welcome return – where status effects pose a greater danger. Plus, there are several new mini-bosses and challenging third-day bosses to defeat.

The Heavenquaker Spear and Strategic Sword are a popular choice for players because their damage increases smoothly and consistently. This combination is well-balanced, offering both powerful close-range attacks and effective damage-over-time effects.

Fans are always eager for any news about their favorite games, whether it comes directly from developers like Todd Howard at Bethesda, or from subtle hints online. This recent post on X (formerly Twitter) from Geoff Keighley is a perfect example – he’s probably building excitement for the upcoming Game Awards.

Everstone Studio’s debut game, Where Winds Meet, is breaking new ground by using AI instead of traditional writers. The game features NPCs and quest givers that are essentially AI chatbots designed to behave like people from the tenth century. While this approach raises concerns about game development practices, it’s currently producing some surprisingly funny interactions.

The game, released worldwide last month, is receiving a major update in China that lets players create basic vehicles like cars, boats, and planes.

You can now play Where Winds Meet on PlayStation 5 and PC. It’s available for download on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store globally.

In Where Winds Meet, you’ll automatically learn certain martial arts, but to get most of them, you’ll need to either find and defeat secret masters to steal their techniques or become a member of a specific Sect.

But there’s a downside. There are so many interesting things to do that it’s hard to focus on one goal. Something new and captivating always seems to appear, pulling your attention elsewhere. You’ll encounter all sorts of unexpected and sometimes strange experiences along the way, and having plenty of time to explore them is definitely a plus.
