Crimson Desert Revives One of Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s Most Notorious NPC Annoyances

Crimson Desert shares a lot in common with Kingdom Come: Deliverance, especially the way it makes you learn skills before you can actually use them. Beyond that, both games feature a world that reacts to your actions, offer very little guidance, and boast huge, open environments ripe for exploration. There’s also a funny quirk with the characters – they overreact to even the smallest interactions, making you feel like you’re constantly disrupting their lives. It’s amusing, but it strongly reminded me of playing the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

This Underrated Elder Scrolls Killer Is So Good, Even Bethesda Will Struggle to Match It

It’s been 15 years since a new Elder Scrolls game was released, making it difficult to keep recommending the series. While Skyrim has been re-released many times, and a poor remaster of Oblivion exists, we haven’t seen a new, full-fledged Elder Scrolls title that proves Bethesda can still create the immersive RPGs they were once famous for. This long wait has allowed new competitors to emerge, offering adventures that are just as good, or even better. In fact, one game, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, is so exceptional—far surpassing Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, and all previous titles—that I’m not sure Bethesda can compete with it when The Elder Scrolls 6 finally arrives.

Resident Evil: Leon’s One-Liners Vs. Every Major Boss in Elden Ring

I often wonder which other games would be funny with a character dropping dad jokes or one-liners. It’s not about ruining a game’s serious atmosphere – writers put a lot of thought into that! – but just… why not try it? Picture Leon from Resident Evil suddenly appearing in Elden Ring. Elden Ring is a bleak and tragic world full of incredibly difficult bosses. It’s a place of ruin where nobody jokes around. But Leon wouldn’t let that stop him.

He explained that Starfield took so long because it was a completely new game, not a continuation of an existing series. The development process was also complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic and Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft.
