Neo-Western TV Shows Don’t Get Better Than This

While Taylor Sheridan is often recognized for bringing modern Westerns back into the spotlight with his popular Yellowstone franchise, Justified, which premiered 14 years earlier, truly demonstrated the lasting appeal of this genre. Yellowstone and its spin-offs continue to be successful, but Justified proved the neo-Western wasn’t just a passing trend, even before Yellowstone‘s recent finale.

The Most Obscure ‘Simpsons’ Celebrity Cameos

After so many episodes—over 63,000!—The Simpsons has stayed interesting by consistently featuring new voices from all over the world as Springfield residents and visitors. It’s tough to get big-name celebrities for nearly 98,000 episodes, so the show has increasingly embraced wonderfully unexpected cameos, including appearances by Nobel laureates and even chess masters.

‘Star Wars: Starfigher’ Director Shawn Levy Talks Father-Son Dynamic in New Film

I recently read an interview with Shawn Levy in The New York Times about his experience directing a Star Wars film. Apparently, Lucasfilm and Disney chose him from a lot of hopeful directors for Starfighter, and even with all his success, he admitted feeling the weight of the project. He actually told his father it was the most stressful and challenging thing he’d ever done! But that’s just how he works, he says – he feels like his 10-year-old self is right there on set with him every day, and that’s what drives his filmmaking.

‘Dust Bunny’ Starring Mads Mikkelsen Now Available on Digital Streaming

The film Dust Bunny premiered to excellent reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025, and was released in US theaters three months later. December proved to be a busy month for movie releases, with films like Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, Hamnet, The Housemaid, Marty Supreme, and Avatar: Fire and Ash all hitting cinemas. This crowded release schedule likely meant Fuller’s R-rated comedy didn’t get as much attention, resulting in a relatively small box office total of around $900,000 worldwide.

I Was Already Pumped For The GOT Prequel, But George R.R. Martin Just Shared One More Reason To Be Intrigued

Details about A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are scarce, but the HBO premiere should answer some of our questions. House of the Dragon reignited my love for this universe, and I’m excited to see how this new series builds upon it. During an appearance on the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms podcast, George R.R. Martin mentioned a significant difference for the upcoming show, stating:

REVIEW: “Relentless” (2026)

Look, “Relentless” isn’t perfect, and honestly, it doesn’t quite live up to its title. I noticed a few issues pretty early on – I’ll get into those later – but I have to say, Botchii really knows how to keep you hooked. The director has a clear vision, and it’s brilliantly supported by two lead actors who fully commit to their roles. Even though the story feels a little stretched over its 93 minutes, I was consistently entertained. Ultimately, that’s what matters most.

More Details on Doctor Doom’s Avengers: Doomsday Team Emerge

A new rumor circulating on X (formerly Twitter) suggests Doctor Doom will lead his own team of villains in the upcoming Avengers movie. According to Muzahid Mateen, this team, initially called the “Harbingers of Doom,” could include characters like Captain Hydra, Maestro Hulk, King Thanos, and different versions of Doctor Doom himself. While Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus denied the team would be called the “Harbingers of Doom,” they seemed to confirm the team’s existence in the movie, which is currently titled Avengers: Doomsday.
