I’ve been following Guy Ritchie’s work for a while now, and it’s been fascinating to see his evolution. While he’s always been a dynamic director, I’ve really noticed him taking on bigger, more ambitious projects lately, like Wrath of Man, and I’m eagerly anticipating In the Grey. Honestly, he’s one of the most consistently working directors out there – it feels like there’s always something new from him coming out, almost annually! He’s not slowing down either, with Wife & Dog and Viva La Madness already in the pipeline. It’s great to see him so creatively active.

Villains like Kingpin, Kang, and Ultron have all had their moments of triumph, whether it meant defeating a powerful hero or even dominating the world. They’ve proven their strength by creating periods of fear and control, showing they’re truly skilled at achieving their goals. It’s easy to see why they continue to pursue even greater power.

My dad sparked my passion for fantasy. He introduced me to the genre through movies like The 13th Warrior (1999), Troy (2004), and 300 (2006), as well as the World of Warcraft video game and the TV show Game of Thrones, which I first started watching with him when I was twelve.

If you’re looking for a quick, gripping show to watch over the weekend, the Taiwanese thriller Million-Follower Detective is a great choice. It’s only eight episodes long, each around an hour, and centers on a masked woman who can predict when social media stars will die. Given how popular crime thrillers are on Netflix, this one could be your next binge-watch.

Piticas, a Brazilian merchandise store, recently updated its website with a comic book-style design inspired by the Spider-Man: Brand New Day series.

Streaming services allow viewers to spot details and connections that used to be missed. We see characters develop throughout the series, and individual cases contribute to larger, overarching storylines. While people initially tune in to watch each week’s mystery, they keep watching to follow the characters’ journeys. Over 18 seasons, this approach became the key to Criminal Minds’ success.

The second season of HBO Max’s medical drama, The Pitt, begins 10 months after the first season, taking place on the 4th of July. The doctors are now working with a new head doctor, Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, and have already faced a number of challenging cases. These include a young girl with a chin injury that raises concerns about abuse, a homeless man needing medical attention for his cast, and the return of Ernest Harden Jr.’s character, Louie, who is again suffering from health problems related to alcohol.

The series, titled 11.22.63 (written as 11.22.63 instead of 11/22/63 like the book), is celebrating its 10th anniversary and still feels incredibly current. Created by J.J. Abrams, known for Star Wars and Lost, the sci-fi show features James Franco as Jake Epping, a divorced English teacher from Maine. Jake is given the opportunity to travel back to the 1960s and try to stop the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Once in the past, he grows fond of the era, which, predictably, makes his mission more difficult.

Matt Groening created the popular animated sitcom, The Simpsons, which first aired in 1989 and is still running today. Season 37 is wrapping up with episodes 800 and 801, but the show has already been renewed for season 38 and future seasons.
