The upcoming 2026 film, Wuthering Heights, directed by Fennell, will feature Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as the iconic characters Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Based on Emily Brontë’s classic 1847 novel, the movie tells the story of the ill-fated romance between Cathy and Heathcliff, as well as the lives of their children. Unlike many previous adaptations, this version will cover both generations of the story.

The upcoming Spider-Noir series, starring Nicolas Cage, is a first for Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, which started with the 2018 film Venom. This show is unique because it’s the first TV series in the universe, taking place in its own separate reality within the Spider-Verse. It’s also the first live-action Spider-Man project led by a Spider-Person variant that Sony has produced on its own in twelve years.

The new student, Chrys (Dafne Keen), arrives at high school with a difficult past – rumors of a drug overdose and even her father’s death follow her. She unexpectedly receives the locker of a deceased football player, which contains an ancient Aztec whistle. Chrys isn’t only haunted by her past drug use, but also by her journey to accept her sexuality, a struggle noticed by Ellie (Sophie Nelisse). As they grow closer, their developing relationship feels genuine and is one of the film’s strongest aspects.

They planned one final weekend together before parting ways, but cleaning the house unexpectedly unleashed hidden spirits. This caused the couple’s already fragile attempt at a peaceful separation to fall apart, as long-held resentments and buried feelings came to the surface.

A major reason fans didn’t like Star Trek: Nemesis was the death of the character Data. His sacrifice to save Captain Picard and the Enterprise-E felt repetitive, echoing the death of Spock in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Interestingly, the film also introduced B-4, an android who was a flawed copy of Data, and into whom Data transferred his memories.

Just when he starts to open up and connect with someone, everything gets complicated. A huge opportunity arises, a detective begins investigating him, and a dangerous criminal threatens to destroy it all. This creates a lot of turmoil throughout Crime 101, but the story ultimately ends on a surprisingly hopeful note, even though it explores difficult themes.

Although audience reviews are still coming in, critics generally consider The Mortuary Assistant a disappointment, giving it a 36% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Okay, so I just stumbled across this movie on Netflix called In the Land of Saints and Sinners, and it’s seriously climbing the charts! As of today, it’s the fourth most popular movie on there, racking up over 5 million views. It’s been in the Top 10 for a couple of weeks now, which is cool, and it’s even the number one movie in over 20 countries! Though, just so you know, here in the US, The Investigation of Lucy Letby is still holding onto the top spot.

Lox Pratt has been cast as Draco Malfoy, a significant choice for the upcoming Harry Potter reboot. While Draco initially attempted to befriend Harry, he quickly became his enemy after Harry rejected his snobbish attitude. Pratt recently told 1883 Magazine that the new series will explore Draco’s home life, offering a deeper look into his character. However, some fans worry that this intense focus on Draco might not be beneficial to the story.

This Netflix limited series, starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law, was generally well-received by viewers, though critics were less impressed. Despite the criticism, it’s a captivating crime thriller perfect for a weekend binge.
