He’s not just a cook – he’s a highly skilled fighter who takes them down one by one.

I particularly enjoyed the focus on the very first new outfit from the Reputation era – a gold bodysuit that fans went wild for when she first wore it during a Miami show in October 2024. It was great to see the process behind creating the look, and how audiences reacted both at the concert and online. However, the documentary left out one important detail.
Ava joins a team that recovers bodies after a mysterious event, hoping to find her missing husband, Matt Whelan. Their marriage was struggling before he disappeared. While working with Clay, a local tradesman played by Brenton Thwaites (known from Titans), Ava is horrified not only by the bodies they find, but by the fact that some of them start to come back to life and become dangerous.
In recent years, Simu Liu became widely known for his role as Ken in Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster film, Barbie. He was particularly popular among the many actors who played Ken, second only to Ryan Gosling. This year, he also appeared in the popular animated Netflix series, In Your Dreams, and has recently been in Arthur the King, Invincible, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, and Star Wars: Visions.

To kick off the new year with some thrills, I’ve chosen three scary movies, including one from a famous science fiction series. With lots of horror and sci-fi films planned for 2026, I think this weekend’s picks on Prime Video are a great way to get ready for what’s coming up.
