Released in the summer of 2017 by A24, A Ghost Story is a unique and moving film starring Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara. Director David Lowery developed the idea after experiencing a personal hardship and finding himself deeply connected to a particular place. As he explained to ComingSoon, this inspired him to create a story about a ghost, but one that’s less about scares and more about exploring big questions about life and existence, resulting in a truly unusual and captivating film.

Aerion (Finn Bennett) tries to convince his father to let him participate in a trial by claiming his brother Daeron’s reputation was damaged when Dunk (Peter Claffey) took Egg. However, this is a lie. Daeron doesn’t want to fight Dunk and doesn’t even try to defend himself against Dunk’s accusations.

I just saw the new Super Bowl ad, and it’s hilarious! It opens with Chris Hemsworth walking in on his wife, Elsa Pataky, having a really casual conversation with their Alexa+. It’s a funny setup right away!

Lisa will be an executive producer on the film, working with Alice Kang, who leads the artist management company LLOUD. The screenplay is being written by Katie Silberman, known for her work on the 2018 film Set It Up and as a co-writer of the 2019 hit Booksmart.

Even though the special episode of The Punisher isn’t coming out for several months, the show is already hinting at the character’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again offered the first glimpse of this, showing – at the 57-second mark – a prison-like facility run by Kingpin. This is where he holds both political opponents and masked heroes, including The Punisher.

The film 96 Minutes premiered in Taiwan on September 5, 2025, and was later added to Netflix. It quickly gained popularity, reaching the #4 spot worldwide among non-English films between January 26th and February 1st, 2026. Starring Austin Lin, Vivian Sung, Wang Po-chieh, Lee Lee-zen, and Eleven Yao, the movie centers around a dangerous bomb threat on two trains.

NCIS is great at keeping viewers engaged by throwing unexpected plot twists into the show. It builds strong connections with its characters, then puts them in difficult situations with surprising developments. Even though the show is known for its twists, they still manage to shock and surprise the audience.

I’m so excited! Marvel just announced a huge new Doctor Doom series called Doomquest, and it’s going to be ten issues long! It’s coming out in May 2026, and I’m really happy Ryan North is writing it – I loved his work on One World Under Doom last year, and he’s currently doing a great job with Fantastic Four. The art is by Francesco Mobili, who did amazing work on Daredevil, so I know it’ll look fantastic. The first issue drops on May 27th, and Alex Ross is doing the cover – it’s going to be epic!

For example, a strange rule established in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now unexpectedly impacting the latest Marvel release.

Many consider Game of Thrones to be one of the best fantasy shows ever made, but its final season and series finale are widely seen as disastrous. The ending damaged the show’s previously stellar reputation and overshadowed its earlier, highly praised seasons. Though Season 8 was a letdown, the positive reception to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms suggests some of the criticism aimed at the show wasn’t entirely accurate.
