During the 2020s, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen have become the most popular anime. Jujutsu Kaisen started its third season in January 2026 and continues to be a huge hit with audiences. Adapted from the manga by Gege Akutami, the series is known for its excellent animation style, which elevates even its already impressive action scenes.
Thankfully, this movie concludes the Harlin trilogy. However, it’s one of the most uninspired horror films in recent years, and its short 90-minute runtime feels much longer. Filled with awkward silences and pointless flashbacks that don’t reveal anything new, the movie barely feels like a complete film. It’s all held together by the barest of threads.
Halle Berry, known for playing Storm in the X-Men films, doesn’t appear to be involved in the upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday. However, Chris Hemsworth (Thor) has hinted that she might be in Avengers: Secret Wars. Phil Dunster, known for his role in the popular Apple TV+ comedy Ted Lasso, will appear alongside Steve Carell and John C. McGinley in the upcoming series Rooster. The show is scheduled to debut on HBO Max on March 8th, and a trailer has recently been released.
The second season of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+ next month. Continuing the story from the original Netflix series, Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Bethel return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, respectively.
The film starts with a quick, serious moment before quickly turning into a fast-paced chase. A group of thieves are trying to steal washing machines containing cocaine, and detectives Vincent, Hayes, Jake, and Cortez are hot on their trail. The thieves are led by Charlie, the son of a mayoral candidate, and his girlfriend, Mia. They successfully deliver the drugs to Tsui, a Triad leader, but things take a dangerous turn when Tsui is murdered by masked attackers. Because Charlie and Mia were present at the scene, they suddenly find themselves targeted by the Chinese crime syndicate.
