Wilson Bethel, who plays a key role in the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, jokingly claims the experience of making Season 2 was even more intense than having his first child.
The second season of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+ next month. Continuing the story from the original Netflix series, Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Bethel return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, and Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, respectively.
What did Wilson Bethel say about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
During an appearance at Rhode Island Comic Con 2025, broadcast via Altered Reality Entertainment and CritiX tv on YouTube, Bethel jokingly compared the experience of watching Born Again Season 2 to the birth of a child, saying it was even more intense.
Okay, so the new season of Daredevil: Born Again is shaping up to be intense! From what I’ve gathered, Kingpin is really tightening his grip on New York City, specifically going after Daredevil. But Matt Murdock isn’t going down without a fight. He’s determined to dismantle Kingpin’s whole operation and try to save Hell’s Kitchen, even if he has to operate from the shadows. It’s all about resisting, rebelling, and rebuilding, which honestly sounds like classic Daredevil. I’m really excited to see how it plays out!
Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman are the creators of Born Again Season 2. The season’s cast includes returning favorites like Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, as well as Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. Matthew Lillard, known for his roles in Scream and Scooby-Doo, joins the cast as a new, enigmatic villain named Mr. Charles.
The second season of Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again will start streaming on Disney+ on March 24, 2026. You can currently watch the first season of Born Again, along with all three seasons of the original Daredevil series and the team-up event, The Defenders, on Disney+.
