Following the popularity of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, the sequel again teams up Chris Meledandri of Illumination and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto to expand the Mario universe on the big screen.

Unlike the other characters who have learned to live alongside the infected, Carol and Manousos don’t even try to get help from them. Manousos, in particular, is even more determined than Carol to avoid any contact whatsoever.
