Following several dangerous battles with villains like the Wizard, the Fantastic Four finally have a moment to relax in issue #6 (written by Ryan North, with art by Humberto Ramos, Victor Olazaba, Edgar Delgado, and lettering by Joe Caramagna). Reed Richards uses this time to explain the concept of true randomness to his children, Franklin and Valeria. But while demonstrating one of his inventions, he discovers something alarming: a distress signal embedded within the cosmic microwave background radiation – a plea for help from Galactus himself.

Mayor Mike McLusky is already struggling with his brother’s imprisonment, and things are about to get much worse. A major conflict is brewing in the city between the Crips and the Cartel, putting everyone under intense pressure.

The first book concentrates on establishing the world and building a connection between the reader and Eragon and his dragon, Saphira. The story’s villain is Durza, a powerful sorcerer. The film adaptation of Eragon also features Durza, played by Robert Carlyle, and is where the movie starts to heavily resemble The Lord of the Rings.

Doc Holliday wasn’t a typical hero; he was more of a flawed character, and that’s made him a fascinating figure for actors like Val Kilmer. This complexity has paved the way for other nuanced characters in Westerns, some who build on Holliday’s legacy and others who offer a completely different take on the gunslinger archetype.

Mehcad Brooks became part of the Law & Order cast in Season 22, taking over the role of Detective Kevin Bernard in 2022. His character’s calm personality nicely balanced his partner, Vincent Riley (played by Reid Scott), who was more high-energy during investigations. Their dynamic quickly became a fan favorite whenever a new episode aired on NBC. Unfortunately, Brooks left the show after Season 25, and his departure felt abrupt and unsatisfying for many viewers.
