According to PEOPLE magazine, Macaulay Culkin announced during his A Nostalgic Night event that he will be returning to acting.

With awards season underway, Ryan Coogler and the team behind his film Sinners have been promoting it at several events. Coogler recently appeared at Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles and announced that Black Panther 3 will be his next project. However, before starting work on that sequel, he wanted to create his musical horror film, especially given the significant shifts happening in the entertainment industry.

Disney+ initially made a name for itself with a constant stream of new shows and movies. But looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, the company is clearly changing its approach to what kind of content it creates. This shift is most noticeable in the subtle changes being made to their plans for live-action shows connected to ‘The Mandalorian’.

Finn Wolfhard, known for his role in Stranger Things, is set to star in a new comedy called Crash Land alongside Gabriel LaBelle, according to Deadline. The film will be the directorial debut of Dempsey Bryk. Crash Land centers around a group of friends in a small town who make their own amateur stunt videos, similar in style to the Jackass series.

Batman has used advanced technology in the past, but Batman Beyond really took things into the future. This series, which began in 1999, was set decades ahead and featured a new Batman named Terry McGinnis, voiced by Will Friedle. An older Bruce Wayne, played by Kevin Conroy, took on the role of his mentor.

After Paul Walker’s tragic death, his family supported the decision to finish Furious 7. The filmmakers rewrote the ending to give Walker a heartfelt farewell. A new book, “Welcome To The Family” by Barry Hertz – about the Fast & Furious series – shares previously unknown details about the movie’s original planned ending.

Yorgos Lanthimos, the five-time Oscar nominee behind Poor Things, now has his latest film, Bugonia, available to rent or buy online. The movie is a reimagining of the 2003 Korean film Save the Planet! and follows a CEO, played by Emma Stone, who is kidnapped by two young men convinced she’s an alien intent on destroying Earth. The film also stars Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone.

Nineteen-year-old Sawyer died by suicide in 2015. His passing was discussed by the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond, including Sullivan and Madylin, during the show’s 30th Anniversary Reunion special on CBS.

Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton will voice the characters of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger in the first three books of a new Audible series (the first is available now). Max Lester told Variety that he especially enjoyed recording scenes where Ron was eating, because the producers provided actual food on set during the recording sessions.

The way Matthew Perry always wanted the final joke made a memorable scene from Friends even more heartwarming. Since his unexpected passing two years ago, that spontaneous moment feels especially poignant.
