The issue started when Shogakukan admitted that the editors at their Manga ONE app helped hide information about manga artist Shoichi Yamamoto. Reports show that even though the editorial team knew Yamamoto (also known as Kazuaki Kurita) had been convicted of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child, they let him publish a new manga, Jojin Kamen, under the name Hajime Ichiro and continue working on it for nearly four years.
The new Prime Video series explores the early days of Sherlock Holmes (Hero Fiennes Tiffin). He’s accused of a murder at Oxford University and must work with a fellow student, James Moriarty (Dónal Finn), to prove his innocence and expose a larger plot.
The animated film Hoppers is getting rave reviews before it even hits theaters on March 6th. Currently, 97% of critics recommend it, based on 59 reviews. While this score could change as more reviews are published, it’s already exceptionally high.
