Dragon Ball‘s use of science fiction ideas might not always be obvious, but they become increasingly important to the story as the series goes on. It’s amazing how far Dragon Ball‘s story goes when you consider where it started. There’s now a lot to suggest that Dragon Ball Z is a sci-fi series just as much as it’s known for its action.

Honestly, as an anime fan, I often find the sheer scale of destruction caused by a hero’s special move to be the *most* satisfying part of a show! But let’s be real, if that happened in real life, it would be a disaster. It really makes you think about characters like Eren Yeager and Monkey D. Luffy – the line between being a hero and, well, a criminal, is incredibly thin. Anime loves those characters who break the rules and go against the grain to achieve what others can’t. Still, if you dropped those same characters into our world, you’d quickly see how their bravery – while cool – could seriously undermine public safety. It’s a fun fantasy, but definitely not something we’d want happening for real!

Barnes has shared his interest in bringing back The Punisher’s main enemy in the MCU, but he’s also eager to try something new. He recently spoke with Collider at a panel during FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention and revealed that his dream role in the DCU would be Batman. He explained that he’s always loved the character, recalling how he grew up watching superheroes and often dressed up as them, with Batman’s cape and cowl being a particular favorite. Now, Deadline reports that the NY Times is counter-suing, seeking “Around $150,000 in attorney’s fees, damages and more.” The legal document states:
