I saw Sinners nine months ago, and honestly, it’s still one of my favorite movies of 2025. I just watched it again, and it confirmed everything I loved about it the first time. I remember walking out of the theater in April completely blown away by the incredible sound and visuals, and that feeling hasn’t faded at all. It’s still a truly amazing film!
What makes spy stories so hard to write well is balancing mystery with a compelling pace. These stories need secrets and gradual reveals, but viewers also want things to keep moving. Too slow, and the suspense fades. Too fast, and characters might not feel believable. The most successful spy thrillers find a sweet spot – they build intrigue naturally while still giving the audience satisfying payoffs and emotional connections.
Everyone’s trying to find out how to watch Season 2 of The Pitt, and I’m already excited for each new episode that comes out on Thursdays. Critics are really liking the new season, but I’m a little frustrated that it’s released one episode at a time. I wish I could watch them all at once! Now I’ll have to deal with those suspenseful cliffhangers and wait a whole week for the next episode.
The James Bond films are finally heading to Netflix on January 21st! At least four movies will be available to stream in the US and some other countries. This is happening thanks to a new agreement between Netflix and Amazon-MGM, the company that owns the rights to the James Bond franchise. While there was a previous, unexplained delay, everything is now set for the films to arrive later this month.
It’s a shame that Star Trek: Discovery won’t have a sixth season, but the franchise has a history of bringing back its stories in unexpected ways. We might even see continuations like Star Trek: Burnham or Trouble in Paradise: The Saru Story decades from now. For now, a new series carries on the spirit of Discovery, and while it doesn’t fully replace a sixth season, it’s a good successor to the show.
According to a report from The Cosmic Circus, Marvel Studios is planning to use three classic X-Men villains – Bolivar Trask, Sentinels, and Mr. Sinister – in future projects focused on mutants. The idea is to portray mutants (and others with superpowers) as frightening to the public. This is supposedly part of a larger scheme by the Department of Damage Control to gain more federal funding and keep conducting experiments on these individuals.
Jason Momoa announced that filming for the sequel to the video game movie will begin very soon. He’ll reprise his role as Garrett ‘The Garbage Man’ Garrison, the professional gamer. Speaking with Jimmy Fallon, Momoa said production should start around the end of April. He also shared that the new script is a big improvement over the first, saying he found it genuinely funny – something he hasn’t experienced while reading a script in a long time. He was confused by the original script, but this one had him laughing out loud.
