The latest Halloween special from Ghosts Season 5 is another standout episode, and a great addition to the 2025 TV lineup. I recently finished watching the whole series to get ready for the new season, and this year’s Halloween episode, “Halloween 5: The Mummy,” was the first one I’ve watched around the actual holiday in years. It was a sweet reminder of why Nigel and Isaac were such a lovely couple, and it even hinted at a possible rekindling of feelings between Hetty and Trevor. Plus, the episode reinforced my idea about why so many of the ghosts who died at Woodstone haven’t moved on.

When the streaming services started competing for viewers, CBS All Access (now Paramount+) was initially boosted by the popularity of the Star Trek universe created by Gene Roddenberry. However, the newer Star Trek shows didn’t significantly attract new subscribers, as most fans were already watching. While Sheridan’s departure as Paramount enters a new phase led by SkyDance feels like a significant loss, the interconnected series he created likely won’t have the lasting appeal of Star Trek.

At first glance, Oddity seems like a classic haunted-house story about a creepy, animated totem. But it’s really a story about a woman struggling with the loss of her twin sister. Filled with genuinely scary moments and chills, Oddity promises to frighten even seasoned horror fans this Halloween.

Although the Cell Games tournament is relatively short, it showcases the best fight choreography in all of Dragon Ball Z. The battle between Goku and Perfect Cell is arguably one of the greatest, focusing primarily on intense hand-to-hand combat. The main drawback is that the tournament itself consists of only a few fights, unlike some other, more extensive tournaments in the series.
