Despite the continued popularity of Blue Bloods, especially on streaming, CBS is launching a spinoff series. The new show, Boston Blue, follows Donnie Wahlberg’s character, Danny Reagan, and his son Sean as they relocate to Boston. While leaving his family and Frank behind in New York is difficult, it opens the door for a fresh storyline.
Paramount initially offered $19 per share in mid-September, increasing it to $22 later in the month. Their final offer, sent on October 13th and reviewed by The New York Times, was $23.50 per share, paid in a combination of cash and stock. Notably, the offer was structured to be mostly cash – 80% – and included a $2.1 billion penalty if the deal didn’t go through.

However, one episode from season 11 really stood out and changed how fans saw the show. Details about the upcoming Harry Potter TV series are constantly emerging as filming for the first season progresses. Recently, Johnny Flynn was announced as the actor taking on the role of Lucius Malfoy, previously played by Jason Isaacs. Interestingly, Lucius doesn’t typically appear until the second book and film, The Chamber of Secrets. Flynn shared his initial experiences with The Standard, describing them as very positive.
