One of Chuck Lorre’s lesser-known but deeply personal shows is “Mom.” This series, which airs on CBS, stars Academy Award winner Allison Janney and Anna Faris in the leading roles as mother and daughter. “Mom” combines humor with dramatic themes like sobriety and family dynamics. Although it has been praised for its funny antics and strong performances, this show was especially commended for skillfully incorporating heavy topics such as addiction, teen pregnancy, and domestic abuse within a sitcom structure.

In Season 2 of Dandadan, Okarun and Momo join Jiji as they head to his family home, aiming to lift a curse from the property. However, they soon discover that their real adversary isn’t supernatural creatures like ghosts or Yokai, but rather, people. In Dandadan, it’s often the human race that proves to be scarier than the actual ghosts, ghouls, and extraterrestrial beings. The first meeting of Okarun, Jiji, and the main antagonists of the Cursed House Arc unintentionally foreshadows another villain in the series who, surprisingly, is also not entirely human, and turns out to be the greatest menace in the manga’s recent story arcs.

In June, it was officially confirmed that there will be a second installment of Lilo & Stitch. However, details about its plot are still under wraps. All we know so far is that hints from the 2025 movie suggest that characters like Angel and Leroy may exist in the live-action universe. Also, director Dean Fleischer Camp has dropped some intriguing hints in interviews that the original villain, Captain Gantu, could make a comeback in this sequel.

Viewers have been captivated by Carmy’s relationships with his sister Sugar Berzatto (Abby Elliott), reminisced about moments shared with his brother Michael (Jon Bernthal) through flashbacks, witnessed emotional outbursts from their mother Donna (Jamie Lee Curtis), and many more characters who span from blood relatives to individuals closely associated with the Berzatto family.

In the eighth season of The Flash, the long-anticipated transformation of Diggle into a Green Lantern was suddenly concluded, as Ramsey declined the offer from the mystery box. This left many viewers disappointed that the Green Lantern storyline in the Arrowverse didn’t get to fully unfold.

On July 6 in the United States, the movie “National Treasure” ranked 8th among the Top 10 most popular films on Disney+. It surpassed both “Stitch! The Movie” at #9 and “Captain America: The First Avenger” at #10. Other titles in the Top 10 include “Ironheart” (#1), “Independence Day” (#2), “The Sandlot” (#3), “Hamilton” (#4), “Snow White” (#5), and “Enchanted” (#6). The movie “National Treasure” features Nicolas Cage as a historian who embarks on a quest to find a hidden treasure following the discovery of a map concealed on the back of the Declaration of Independence.
