I was reading an interview with Leslye Headland over at The Wrap about The Acolyte, and she explained why it only got one season on Disney+. Honestly, she didn’t seem all that surprised it was canceled after just one season, which is a bit sad, but understandable.

During a video call with their oldest daughter, Nina (Zoe Colletti), who’s studying in London, they jokingly reference Dan’s secret past.
When asked about a possible sequel to Jungle Cruise during an interview on Entertainment Weekly’s The Awardist podcast, both Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt said it wasn’t currently being planned at Disney.

While Freaky Friday remains at the bottom of Disney+’s Top 10, Freakier Friday has held the number one spot as of November 21st.
It’s frustrating when a movie relies on romance, but the lead actors just don’t seem to connect. Even experienced and talented actors sometimes struggle to create believable chemistry, and when they don’t, the film feels flat. It’s hard to define what makes that spark, but you definitely know when it’s missing.
Jon Bernthal returning as the Punisher was exciting news for fans. He’s a popular, gritty character from Marvel comics, and many who enjoyed the Marvel shows on Netflix had been hoping to see him in the Daredevil: Born Again series. While a scene after the credits of the first season hinted at his return, Marvel Studios has now clarified that won’t happen in Born Again itself. Instead, Sana Amanat, an executive producer on Born Again, told Empire magazine that the post-credits scene actually sets up a separate special featuring Bernthal’s Punisher.
Though South Park can still offer insightful political humor and wonderfully silly moments, the show has transformed significantly over time. Episodes now often tell ongoing stories, are more explicit in their content, delve heavily into politics, and assume viewers are very familiar with current events. Some fans enjoy these changes, while others find them confusing, exhausting, or simply dislike them. However, everyone agrees that the show is quite different now than it used to be.
