Joining The Seven was the ultimate achievement, granting a supe immense power, fame, and public approval. As the series went on, though, the reality behind The Seven’s polished image began to emerge.
Okay, so I checked in with Disney+’s most popular titles, and Hocus Pocus is still reigning supreme! As of Thursday, October 23rd, it’s holding onto that number one spot. Right behind it, though, is another blast from the past – The Nightmare Before Christmas, Tim Burton’s classic, is comfortably at number two. Seems like a lot of people are in the mood for some spooky season nostalgia!
Jeremy Renner revealed last May that he initially declined a second season of ‘Hawkeye’ because Marvel offered him half the salary he earned for the first season. He hinted this lower offer may have been connected to his serious snowmobile accident in 2023. Despite the disagreement over pay, Renner remains interested in returning as Hawkeye and is currently still discussing the possibility with the studio.
I knew Jeremy Allen White would deliver a fantastic performance when he was cast as Bruce Springsteen. Austin Butler, who was impressed by White’s work in Deliver Me From Nowhere, spoke with the actor for Interview Magazine about preparing to play the “Born in the USA” singer. White honestly shared that he asked Springsteen for some privacy while filming. He explained:

The Arrowverse has become a major success story in the world of superheroes, proving that big budgets aren’t everything. The actors from these shows have become strongly associated with their characters for many fans. Now that the DC Universe (DCU) is bringing different heroes together, fans are hoping to see some Arrowverse stars join the new franchise. While many actors could make a great addition, Melissa Benoist stands out as the best choice. Her talent and experience would not only excite fans but also bring a lot to the DCU.
Despite the continued popularity of Blue Bloods, especially on streaming, CBS is launching a spinoff series. The new show, Boston Blue, follows Donnie Wahlberg’s character, Danny Reagan, and his son Sean as they relocate to Boston. While leaving his family and Frank behind in New York is difficult, it opens the door for a fresh storyline.
Paramount initially offered $19 per share in mid-September, increasing it to $22 later in the month. Their final offer, sent on October 13th and reviewed by The New York Times, was $23.50 per share, paid in a combination of cash and stock. Notably, the offer was structured to be mostly cash – 80% – and included a $2.1 billion penalty if the deal didn’t go through.
