In this story, The Sandman initially presented Nada as the mortal ruler of an ancient African metropolis called the “First City.” Unforeseen circumstances caused her to step into the Dreaming (Morpheus’ domain). Fascinated by Nada’s charm, strength, and bravery, Dream developed feelings for her. However, their relationship was taboo as the love between an Endless being and a mortal could disrupt cosmic harmony. Unfortunately, their romance soon brought disaster upon her people when a meteor struck her city.

Instead of witnessing pearls in a back alley during Batman’s parents’ demise, I prefer not to be exposed to that scene. Similarly, I don’t want to watch the radioactive spider bite Spider-Man, and I’d rather not see baby Kal-El arriving from Krypton in a small rocket.

As a movie enthusiast, I can tell you that the series portrays its creature straight out of ancient Mongolian folklore. This legendary beast is said to bear a striking resemblance to a long, stout worm, ranging from 2 to 5 feet in length. It’s often found lurking in the western or southern Gobi, where it leaves trails of sandy ripples for us to spot it.

Barb & Star’s acting troupe flawlessly brings out the absurdity that makes this movie stand out, and I consider it among the greatest comedies ever made. It’s like quoting lines from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but there are people who haven’t experienced this hilarious masterpiece in all its short-skirted splendor.
