THE SEVEN – SONG OF THE SAMURAI debuts on 9th May is original Series (Japan) 

I’m incredibly excited for Apple TV’s take on Neuromancer! It’s a story that’s always stuck with me, and it feels more relevant than ever with its thoughts on shopping and technology. Plus, I’ve heard great things about the upcoming Netflix series, The Future Is Ours, which is based on Philip K. Dick’s work. It sounds like it’s going to deliver a really important message about climate change and what could happen to our planet.

These sci-fi games are fantastic, but they’ve been largely forgotten recently. Even though they aren’t getting much attention now, they’re all excellent and deserve to be played by any serious fan of the genre.

Perhaps the appeal of Narcos lies in its contrast with the fantastical nature of many modern shows. The difference between series like The Rings of Power and gritty, realistic dramas like Narcos is striking. While that realism likely plays a role in its success, it’s also clear that viewers simply appreciate well-made television, and Narcos definitely delivers on that front.

The upcoming movie adaptation of this popular book faces significant pressure. It needs to successfully blend science fiction and fantasy, and it’s crucial that it maintains the book’s dark, often wild and unpredictable, humor and tone.

After the first Mamma Mia! film became a huge hit, a sequel seemed inevitable. However, Meryl Streep and many of the original cast weren’t initially keen on returning. Director Ol Parker explained that while the studio was eager to capitalize on the first film’s success, getting everyone on board proved difficult. Despite these challenges, Mamma Mia! 2 was made, and a third film is now in development.

TV detectives, from iconic figures like Hercule Poirot and Jessica Fletcher to contemporary characters such as Spencer Reid and Adrian Monk, are often portrayed as exceptionally intelligent with keen observation skills – sometimes even surpassing Sherlock Holmes. However, raw intelligence isn’t the only thing that makes a great detective. Understanding people, recognizing social signals, and being aware of cultural nuances are equally crucial skills. Many of the most compelling TV detectives excel in these areas, making them truly insightful investigators.

As a huge fan of Stranger Things, I was really glad to see the latest season address something that’s been bugging me for a while – the show’s power levels. It finally feels like Eleven is being recognized for what she is: a full-blown superhero! Throughout the five seasons, it was always clear Eleven was the strongest weapon against Vecna and the Upside Down. The season 5 finale really cemented that, with her going head-to-head with both Vecna and the Mind Flayer. It was awesome to see her truly step into that role.

Showtime’s Weeds centered on Nancy Botwin, a mother in the suburbs who had to find a way to support her family’s comfortable life after her husband suddenly passed away. Her situation was similar to Skyler White from Breaking Bad, except Nancy didn’t have a husband whose cancer diagnosis initially motivated his criminal activity.

Alongside new updates, the biggest surprise was a huge crossover with Neon Genesis Evangelion. Producer Naoki Yoshida announced that this crossover would be a multi-part “Alliance Raid” series, meaning fans would enjoy *Evathemed content for months to come. The announcement caused a massive reaction from the audience at the event in Anaheim, and it’s easy to see why.
