2027 is when four highly anticipated movies are set to premiere: The Batman Sequel, Man of Tomorrow, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, and Avengers: Secret Wars. The Batman Sequel will continue the storyline from Matt Reeves’ 2022 film The Batman. Man of Tomorrow will showcase David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, both characters from the 2025 Superman movie. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse marks the conclusion of the Spider-Verse trilogy, focusing on Miles Morales’ adventures as Spider-Man.

1939 setting: A bold and determined woman named Krystyna Skarbek, motivated by the safety of her mother, convinces a mysterious British agent called Trenchcoat to allow her to infiltrate Nazi-occupied Poland for intelligence gathering. However, the mission doesn’t go as planned, causing Krystyna great personal loss and fueling her determination to make her life meaningful.

Four years later, having endured the horrors of war and earning respect, Krystyna is dropped into southern France. Her task: evaluate the fractured French Resistance and approve a significant British arms delivery. Assuming the guise of a schoolteacher, Krystyna infiltrates a precarious network. Disney has chosen to debut their upcoming original series, titled “Traveling with Snow Man“, on Sundays. This unscripted reality show is a collaboration between Disney and Nippon TV, which documents the travels of the popular Japanese boy band, Snow Man, across Japan. According to the latest Disney+ schedule, new episodes of “Traveling with Snow Man” will be released every Sunday in September, and by the end of the month, six out of the ten episodes in the first season will have been aired.

The television series titled “Invasion” revolves around an ordinary group of individuals banding together to protect Earth from extraterrestrial beings looking to conquer our planet. Notable actors in this show include Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Sam Neill, Enver Gjokaj, among others.

When asked about possibly playing Aquaman again, given his initial portrayal of the character on Smallville, Ritchson stated, “No, I wouldn’t dare take that role from Momoa, as I hold him in high regard. I adore Jason Momoa.” He further mentioned, “However, I’d be interested in venturing into uncharted territories, and I have a feeling we might. We’ll see.” Even though Momoa is moving on to play Lobo in the DCU, Ritchson made it clear that he has no intentions of taking over as Aquaman.

In “Captain America: Civil War,” Spider-Man joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) due to a joint production agreement with Sony. More recently, Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, making it possible for X-Men and Fantastic Four to also become part of the MCU. Sadly, these characters won’t fully interact with the wider MCU until next year in “Avengers: Doomsday.” However, by December 2027, a dream that Marvel Studios has pursued for the past 17 years will finally materialize, transforming the MCU forever.
