Most Call of Duty games have included a celebrity partnership of some kind since about 2010. Before I talk about the new Battlefield 6 trailer, I suggest you watch it first – that way, I won’t spoil the surprises! Once you’ve seen it, you can continue reading.

At the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft’s Xbox showcased a diverse lineup of games from both large and independent developers. Highlights included a new installment in the Gungrave series, updated looks at Ninja Gaiden 4, and official releases of Monster Hunter Stories 1 and 2. Since 2018, the Windows team has been divided into two main groups. The team building the fundamental parts of Windows now operates under the Azure division, while the remaining team continues to focus on features users directly interact with and the overall Windows experience.

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, leads Affinity Partners, a firm that wasn’t previously mentioned in reports about the potential deal. Affinity Partners receives significant funding from Saudi Arabian investors, including the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
The PIF is headed by Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who also owns SNK, the company behind the Fatal Fury video game series. Prince Salman is passionate about both video games and sports and is actively seeking investments that will increase Saudi Arabia’s presence in the entertainment industry.
It was widely reported that Prince Salman ordered the assassination of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.

It wasn’t long ago that the future of the Silent Hill series looked bleak. After the cancellation of Silent Hills due to a falling out between Konami and Hideo Kojima, fans feared the franchise was over.
However, things have dramatically improved recently. The critically acclaimed Silent Hill 2 remake by Bloober Team was a huge success, and now NeoBards has followed up with Silent Hill f.
This marks a real turnaround for Silent Hill, and it’s also been a good year for Konami, who recently released a successful remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, selling over a million copies.
I haven’t had time to play Silent Hill f yet – I’ve been enjoying Hades 2 – but I’ve purchased it and plan to start playing this week. It’s great that it supports Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing seamless play across consoles and PC.
I’m also hoping to see a release of the Silent Hill 2 remake on Xbox soon, as it was initially a PlayStation 5 exclusive, and that exclusivity period should be ending shortly.
Looking ahead, Bloober Team is continuing to work on the series with a remake of the original Silent Hill game, though details are scarce at this time, including which platforms it will be available on.

It’s not yet clear what makes this new feature different from the Copilot Appearance feature announced previously. Both allow users to interact with a customizable, animated avatar during chats.

I was listening to the Bg2 podcast the other day (I read about it on Tom’s Hardware first!), and they had NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, on as a guest. He was talking about how NVIDIA’s business is changing when it comes to AI development in China – it’s really interesting because NVIDIA makes most of the specialized graphics cards that power AI these days!
