Many people are currently unable to access their X (formerly Twitter) accounts. It seems a large number of users – possibly millions – are being locked out and seeing the same error message.
The Steam Machine is a small PC designed for gaming, running on SteamOS and featuring custom components, but at its core it’s powered by AMD. Since it’s expected to release in Spring 2026, I decided to create a couple of similar, compact PC builds that you can purchase and build yourself right now.
Currently, almost all handheld gaming PCs use processors made by AMD. This includes the newest Xbox handhelds, even though Qualcomm could have provided the chips. Similarly, all officially supported SteamOS devices only work with x86 processors and don’t officially support PCs that use Snapdragon processors.
It’s hard to find a PC gamer who hasn’t heard of Valve and its platform, Steam. Valve is famous for creating incredibly popular and influential games, like Half-Life, which really shaped the first-person shooter genre.
While SteamOS doesn’t completely block anti-cheat software, many popular multiplayer games still have issues with it. This is because these anti-cheat systems are designed to work with Windows and need access to its core operating system components.
The new Steam Machine is a powerful gaming computer with a six-core AMD processor and a custom graphics card. It can play games in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, especially when using AMD’s image upscaling technology. Think of it like a game console, but with access to the entire Steam library of PC games and running on the SteamOS operating system.
Even though Xbox sales are down compared to last year, and PlayStation has only seen a small increase in playtime despite strong PS5 sales, Valve seems confident and is bringing back its Steam Machine project, which first began in 2014.
But who hasn’t had a literal nightmare take over their road trip?
In recent years, the company has made significant investments in artificial intelligence, including a multi-billion dollar collaboration with OpenAI. As a result, they’ve incorporated OpenAI’s latest technology, like the technology behind ChatGPT, throughout their products, including Windows.
Xbox Cloud Gaming, which is included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, has gotten a significant upgrade. It now offers sharper graphics with 1440p resolution and uses a better video technology, making the experience much closer to competitors like NVIDIA GeForce Now. After years of testing, the service is finally out of beta and officially launched in India, marking another step in Microsoft’s plan to make it available worldwide.
