Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate reviews open ‘Mixed’ on Steam, with a player count only a fraction of The Final Shape’s — I’m surprised it’s this low after a new expansion

As I type this, the user feedback for “Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate” and recent reviews for “Destiny 2” on Steam, the primary PC gaming platform, are classified as “Mixed.” Specifically, there are 382 reviews for the expansion and 3,138 reviews for the main game. It’s worth noting that many players have left their feedback for the expansion on the main Destiny 2 page. The ratings for Destiny 2 on Xbox and PlayStation are trickier to gauge, but most recent Xbox reviews for the game are negative, while the expansion has a 3.79/5 star rating on the PlayStation Store.

Obsidian’s Xbox RPG Avowed gets another update bringing bug fixes and these new abilities — and it’s now Steam Deck Verified

It’s great to see all these updates, and I’m particularly keen to find out how the game dynamics have changed with altered enemy behavior and new player skills. I’m tempted to play again, but I might wait since the last major update this year, as per the Avowed 2025 roadmap, will introduce more appearance customization options, New Game Plus mode, and a Photo Mode for added fun. However, I do hope some story-based DLC is announced soon. Currently, Avowed can be played on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC (via Battle.net, Steam, and Xbox PC). It’s also accessible through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Now, they are experimenting with a feature that allows for sharing your entire desktop, giving Copilot a view of numerous applications simultaneously if you opt for it.
