The previous Catfish host shared the exciting news of her engagement and, at the same time, introduced her partner to her social media followers for the very first time.
Kamie announced their engagement with a post titled “Hard Launch: The Wizard & I… Forever,” on Instagram on September 28th. The post, a photo carousel, featured the moment her partner proposed in New York City. She captioned it with the date: “9.27.25.”
The 32-year-old-who has kept her partner’s name private, playfully calling him Wizard Kelly (a character from The Proud Family) online-started a photo series with a picture of her showing off her 4-carat engagement ring while happily hugging him. The next photo revealed her partner’s face as they shared an embrace and held champagne glasses, with the New York City skyline visible in the background.
“It was absolutely the best night of my life,” Kamie shared with TopMob News in a statement. “We’re incredibly happy and thrilled to finally share our love with everyone-FINALLY!!!”
Following their engagement, both families joined in the joyous occasion, and the Relationst host shared a heartwarming video of her sister preparing a surprise.
“My family means everything to me,” she shared on her Instagram Story, “and they were a huge help in creating the absolutely perfect proposal I’ve always dreamed of.”
Although Kamie generally prefers to keep her relationship details to herself, she once shared some background information about how their romance began.
She shared a TikTok video in September 2024, posting while standing in front of her boyfriend, but obscuring his face, with the caption: “It wasn’t a relaxed thing; everything happened with purpose.” She explained that they went on their first date immediately after connecting on a dating app. Soon after, she traveled abroad for a month to host a television program, and when she returned, they had both deleted the apps and were dating only each other. She then left again to film another show overseas, and at that point, they were falling in love.”
And they always knew they would one day head down the aisle.
She explained that after I returned to the US, he asked me to be his girlfriend with the explicit understanding that we were dating with the goal of getting married. It wasn’t just a casual relationship, she emphasized. He was serious about finding a wife.
