The list of celebrities joining season two of The Celebrity Traitors is growing, and now includes the well-known actor Michael Sheen.
According to The Sun, Welsh actor Michael Sheen – who’s starred in movies like The Queen, Frost/Nixon, and The Twilight Saga, as well as TV shows including Masters of Sex, Good Omens, Staged, and A Very Royal Scandal – has signed on to participate in the second season of a reality competition show.
According to a source, Michael is well-suited for The Traitors because he’s experienced at playing deceptive and manipulative characters. He’s considered a major addition to the cast, and there’s a lot of enthusiasm about his involvement behind the scenes.
A BBC representative stated they won’t be responding to rumors, and information about the second series of The Celebrity Traitors will be shared when it’s ready.
TopMob has also approached a representative for Michael Sheen.

According to the report, Sheen is having a very successful year. He’ll soon appear in the last episode of Good Omens, alongside David Tennant.
He’s also the new host of the show House of Games, stepping into the role previously held by the show’s creator, Richard Osman.
When the news was first released, Sheen stated he knew he had big shoes to fill, but as a longtime fan of the show, he was thrilled to join the cast and finally see his likeness on a fondue set.

Osman shared his excitement on his podcast, ‘The Rest is Entertainment,’ expressing how happy everyone is that Michael is taking on the project.
We’re continuing now, and I’d like to also welcome him. He leads a fantastic team in television, and I’m sure he’s going to really enjoy this.
The Celebrity Traitors will return later this year. Season 1 is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
