There were reports earlier this week that Christopher Judge, the actor known for playing Kratos in the recent God of War games, was being considered to return to the role for the upcoming live-action TV series on Amazon Prime.
He successfully disproved the claim on social media, and the post quickly went viral, reaching over 11 million views on X.
The judge has shared further thoughts on the show, offering some additional comments and opinions.
He expressed his thanks for the positive response to his post and shared his thoughts on Kratos’ role in the Amazon series.
I don’t know who they’ll choose for the role, but I hope whoever gets it truly cares about the character as much as the fans and I do,” Judge stated.
Essentially, he wants the actor to genuinely connect with and understand the character. It would be disappointing if the person playing Kratos didn’t really know who he is, but we’re confident they’ll do their homework.
Judge has reiterated that he won’t be wielding the Leviathan Axe, but we still don’t know who will.
Now that production is starting soon, we expect to hear official announcements about who’s been cast in the next few weeks.
We’re curious – who do you think should play Kratos in a God of War TV show? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
