
Chuck Norris, the famous martial artist and action movie star known for roles in films like Missing in Action and the television series Walker, Texas Ranger, has passed away at the age of 86, according to his family.
Chuck Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii on Thursday and sadly passed away on Friday, March 20th, his family announced.
The family shared on Instagram that he passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
To the world, he was known as a martial arts expert, actor, and a strong figure. But to his family, he was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a wonderful brother and the center of their lives.
He approached life with strong beliefs, a clear sense of direction, and deep love for those around him. Through his dedication, hard work, and compassion, he touched the lives of millions and left a meaningful legacy.
Despite our immense sadness, we are incredibly thankful for his life and the wonderful memories we shared. He cherished the love and support of his fans worldwide, and our family is deeply grateful for all of you. He considered you not just fans, but friends.

Chuck Norris, a skilled martial arts instructor and champion karateka, began his film career in Bruce Lee’s 1972 movie, The Way of the Dragon, where he played the role of the antagonist, Colt.
He first gained recognition as a strong and determined Texas Ranger in the 1983 film, Lone Wolf McQuade. This role later served as the foundation for his iconic character in Walker, Texas Ranger.
Chuck Norris also played memorable characters like Colonel Braddock, a US military officer in the 1984 film Missing in Action, retired CIA agent Matt Hunter in 1985’s Invasion U.S.A., and police sergeant Eddie Cusack in Code of Silence, also released in 1985.
In the 1990s, Norris starred in several television programs, most notably as the lead in the CBS crime drama, Walker, Texas Ranger.
Chuck Norris became popular again in the 2000s thanks to a viral internet trend. These ‘Chuck Norris Facts’ were humorous exaggerations of his strength and toughness, spreading widely online.
