Since Paramount owns Nickelodeon, it’s not surprising that many beloved classic shows, both cartoons and live-action series, appear on their streaming service, Paramount+. However, these shows don’t always stay available for long, and several have been removed from the platform in recent years. Sometimes, even when a show remains on Paramount+, certain seasons disappear. Now, a popular Nickelodeon classic is getting its missing seasons restored to Paramount+, and it’s happening sooner than fans might think.
For a while, seasons three and four of Kenan & Kel were unavailable on Paramount+. While the first two seasons remained on the streaming service, it was unclear why the later seasons were missing. Thankfully, all four seasons of the popular Nickelodeon show will be available on Paramount+ starting next month. On April 29th, the missing seasons will be added, making the entire series accessible on the platform for the first time in years. Plus, Kenan Mitchell and Kel Thompson are planning a reunion project, though it will be a different kind of show than the original live-action series.
Kenan & Kel Will Return

Kenan Thompson recently shared that he and Kel Mitchell are working on a new project: a horror comedy called Kenan & Kel Meet Frankenstein. The movie will be similar to the classic Abbott and Costello films, featuring the pair battling a monster. Details like a release date and trailer haven’t been announced yet, but Thompson has talked about how excited he is to reunite with Mitchell.
Kenan Thompson recently announced a new project on Amazon Prime Video’s Good Sports: a movie reuniting him with Kel Mitchell. He described working with Kel as always being easy and fun, and said this film combines familiar humor with a fresh, surprising story. They’re excited to bring back the chemistry fans love while also exploring something new. The movie follows two delivery drivers who accidentally revive Frankenstein’s monster after finding a strange mansion. While it’s not officially connected to their old Nickelodeon show, it will once again feature Kenan and Kel together on screen.
As a big fan of 90s Nickelodeon, I was thrilled to hear Kenan & Kel is coming to Paramount+! But honestly, it’s hard to get too excited when you consider the upcoming merger with Warner Bros. Basically, HBO Max and Paramount+ are going to become one big streaming service, which means all our favorite shows from both places will end up together. I’m really hoping this means Kenan & Kel will stick around for a long time and a whole new generation gets to enjoy their hilarious adventures. Fingers crossed!
