Bandai Namco has shared an eight-minute gameplay trailer for Code Vein II and revealed a demo for the game’s character creation tools will be released on January 23rd.

In Code Vein II, players explore a compelling story about bonds of blood, fate, and destiny, set in a dying world where humans and Revenants fight for survival. When a new threat called the Luna Rapacis drives Revenants insane, turning them into monstrous Horrors, a Revenant Hunter emerges. Guided by a mysterious girl named Lou, who can travel through time, the player must journey into the past. By changing the destinies of key Revenants, the player uncovers secrets and information vital to saving the future.
In Code Vein II, players will explore a world existing across two different time periods, where choices matter and combat demands both skill and determination. This action RPG offers a unique gameplay experience: players gain power by absorbing the blood of defeated enemies, using it to unlock abilities and customize their combat style with ‘Blood Codes.’ They’ll also utilize special weapons and gear called ‘Jails’ to defeat tough enemies and massive bosses. Players can team up with powerful Partner characters who fight by their side, providing unique skills and adding depth to the story. Bandai Namco plans to share more details about the game’s world and gameplay soon.
