John Carpenter’s ‘The Thing’ is a classic horror film, and the trailer for ‘Cold Storage‘ evokes a similar feeling. It features a lot of unsettling creature effects, and one scene with a deer is reminiscent of the famous dog scene in ‘The Thing,’ though it seems to be played for comedic effect rather than horror.
Okay, so picture this: a super-contagious, constantly-changing fungus breaks loose from a top-secret lab. It’s up to two young workers, and thankfully, a really tough, experienced guy who knows bioterrorism, to get through the most insane night of their lives. They’re basically humanity’s last hope as this thing spreads and just…wipes everything out. It’s a race against time to stop total extinction, and honestly, it’s terrifyingly gripping stuff!
COLD STORAGE, a new film directed by Jonny Campbell (known for Dracula) and written by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Presence), features Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), and Liam Neeson.
COLD STORAGE is coming soon to cinemas across the UK and Ireland in 2026.
