For the third week in a row, XRP has shown stronger performance in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Even though the overall cryptocurrency market has been struggling, XRP continues to attract investors, marking its third consecutive week of gains with $15.20 million in new investment.
Bitcoin and Ethereum funds under pressure
XRP had a good week, increasing in value. However, Bitcoin and Ethereum faced challenges, as investors continued to pull money out of their exchange-traded funds (ETFs) throughout the week.

Bitcoin ETFs experienced a significant outflow of $1.42 billion last week, and Ethereum ETFs saw an outflow of $241.45 million, according to data from SosoValue.
Recently, we’ve observed institutions investing in XRP, which seems to be gaining new funds while Bitcoin and Ethereum are experiencing outflows.
XRP becomes strongest performing crypto ETF
XRP ETFs have been consistently attracting new investment since April 30th. There have only been a handful of days with no significant changes – meaning no money was added or taken out.
XRP ETFs haven’t seen any net decrease in holdings for almost a month, suggesting growing confidence in XRP’s future, particularly from institutional investors.
As a crypto investor, I’ve been watching the ETF flows closely, and it’s a bit concerning to see both Bitcoin and Ethereum experiencing consistent outflows. Since May 15th, we’ve seen daily withdrawals from these ETFs, which isn’t a great sign for short-term price action.
Ethereum’s price has been falling for a while now, starting May 11th when investors began consistently withdrawing funds from its ETFs. There haven’t been any new funds added since then.
In recent weeks, XRP has been the best-performing crypto ETF. This is happening while XRP continues to see money flowing in, unlike Bitcoin and Ethereum, which have experienced significant outflows.
