Control Resonant Looks Mind-Bendingly Awesome in First PS5 Gameplay

Remedy Entertainment has released gameplay footage of their upcoming game, Control Resonant, and it looks very impressive.

This is a continuation of the Control story, but this time you play as Jesse Faden’s brother, Dylan. He’s escaped from the mysterious Oldest House, but unfortunately, so have all the dangerous entities that were contained within, like the Hiss.

Dylan possesses supernatural abilities and wields a unique weapon that can instantly transform into different shapes during battle. This allows for dynamic and fast-paced combat, a noticeable improvement over the previous game, with the weapon appearing as everything from a massive hammer to a pair of blades.

Dylan has the ability to manipulate gravity, allowing him to run on walls and navigate the strange, warped environment.

It looks pretty slick, and full of that great Remedy weirdness we all love.

Control Resonant is coming to PS5 later this year, though we don’t have a specific release date yet. Let us know if you’re looking forward to it in the comments!
