On Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) began to suspect his wife, Abi (Sally Carman-Duttine), again in Coronation Street.
I was absolutely shocked to find out Kevin wasn’t telling the truth about his cancer. It was devastating. And honestly, after that, Abi… well, she ended up finding comfort in the arms of Kevin’s half-brother, Carl. They’ve been seeing each other ever since, and it’s just… a mess. It’s hard to believe this is happening.
Abi thinks Carl is loyal to her, but she doesn’t know he’s been having an affair with James Bailey, played by Jason Callender. She’s also unaware that Carl was the one who caused the hit-and-run accident involving Tyrone Dobbs, played by Alan Halsall.
Abi was stunned to learn how far Carl went to protect himself – he’d damaged Tracy Barlow’s shop and even threatened her father, Ken, to stop Tracy from revealing his secrets about him and Abi.
Despite her initial reservations, Abi was won over by Carl, and after a particularly intense moment between them, she agreed to go with Kevin to his doctor’s appointment.
Kevin received good news, but when he mentioned hoping to grow old with Abi, he noticed she seemed uncomfortable.
Abi confessed to Carl that she disliked deceiving Kevin, but she acted normally when she returned home. However, everything changed when Kevin shared his plans for their future.
Abi told Kevin she wanted to end their relationship, but she didn’t reveal that she had been unfaithful.
Kevin begged Abi to stay, clearly heartbroken, but she kindly told him she didn’t love him anymore, and thanked him for everything he’d done for her over the years.
Their conversation was cut short when Debbie (Sue Devaney) called for one of them, leading to an argument between Kevin and Carl.
Kevin strongly believes Abi is having an affair with Carl, and now we’re waiting to see if his suspicions are confirmed.
Abi believes she’s found a fresh beginning with Carl, but will she discover he isn’t who he seems?
It’s not long before Debbie is drawn into the messy situation, but how will she deal with it?
