Sarah Platt was shocked when a severely injured Todd Grimshaw unexpectedly showed up at her home on Coronation Street.
This follows Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) voicing her worries about Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) role in her father Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) death. As fans remember, during a terrible car crash, Theo fastened Billy’s seatbelt and then let the van catch fire.
Overcome with guilt, he confessed his wrongdoings before Billy’s funeral. Unbeknownst to him, Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) was nearby and overheard the entire confession.
Last week, Carl suggested to Summer that she should consider the possibility that someone closer to her might be responsible for the car accident, rather than blaming him.
Theo intended to move to Belfast today, but a disagreement with Todd led to a strange situation. After Todd explained he needed to support Summer, who was grieving, Theo locked him in a bedroom. The recent episode, now available on ITVX, depicts Todd pleading to be released throughout the night.

Theo confessed his love and fear of losing him, but immediately followed it with harsh words, saying he hated him and couldn’t stand to be near him.
Theo finally agreed to leave the flat when Sarah voiced her worries and came to check on him. To reassure her, Todd then called Sarah to say they were already traveling to Northern Ireland.

Theo headed for the bathroom, acting like he was going to shower, but he was really keeping an eye on Todd. He frantically looked all over the apartment for the keys, not realizing they were already hidden.
Todd slowly backed into a corner as an enraged Theo made his way towards him.
That evening, Sarah confessed to Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) that she felt like she’d let Todd down and hadn’t been able to prevent him from leaving with Theo. She was surprised when the intercom buzzed, and Todd’s voice came through.

He screamed out in pain, telling her he was unable to climb the stairs to her flat.
Sarah and Kit hurried to his side, finding him collapsed and in terrible pain. They understood he had been lying to shield himself, and Kit quickly went to get the car to rush him to the hospital.
Todd confidently explained to Sarah that he didn’t want to see a doctor; he preferred to go to the police.
Is this finally the end of Theo?
